The Small Business Administration has established the Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) Empowerment Contracting Program wherein they aim to provide federal contracting assistance to eligible small business corporations which are located in underutilized business zones so as to improve their employment opportunities, investments, and their area’s economic development. The Small Business Administration will identify which businesses are eligible to receive HUBZone contracts and will then maintain a list of qualified HUBZone small businesses which federal agencies can then use to locate them.

Calendars can be a great tool to help you with your time management skills. Many carry around a physical paper calendar, since it is easy to write on them. Some people like the flexibility electronic calendars offer. Regardless of the method you choose, you are sure to be more successful at managing your time when you use a calendar.
Pay close attention to deadlines if you find you are constantly late with projects and appointments. When you become aware that a deadline is coming up quickly, you must take time away from other priorities to handle the more urgent matter, and you end up behind on just about all the other tasks on your list. However, if you keep those deadlines in focus and allocate your time wisely, you won’t have to sacrifice one project to finish another.
If you’re having trouble managing your time effectively, take a step back and analyze what you’re getting out of your current work process. Try to determine why, for example, you leave many tasks unfinished. To spend your time effectively, you need to figure out what you are doing wrong.
Make a solid plan for your day ahead of time. It doesn’t matter whether your scribble down a quick to-do list or spend an hour carefully laying out exactly what you’ll do; any amount of groundwork will be extremely helpful. If you do this, you can relax a little knowing what you will be prepared for the next day.
When time management is getting hard, consider how you use your time. Consider the wisest use of your time. Only look at emails or voice mails when you delegate time for them. Checking them as they are sent is a waste of time.
As stated above, time management is easy when you are focused on it. You should use the tips here that work for your unique situation. Make sure that you always practice the skills that you just learned, and always look to improve yourself. You’ll see how simple it really is to manage your time.
